This two day course is for anyone working within a school setting who wishes to develop their awareness of how bereavement and loss can impact on young people.

This course explores:

• Understanding children's grief
• Insight into grief and its different stages
• Basic listening skills
• Death of a child
• Social and cultural attitudes to death and bereavement
• Useful alternative techniques
